The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join a Highspring delivery team and contribute to the design, development, and evolution of enterprise-scale backend solutions. This role is ideal for an experienced software engineer who thrives in cloud-native environments and enjoys building robust, scalable applications using contemporary Java technologies.

What You'll Do
Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
Build scalable microservices and RESTful APIs.
Participate in software architecture and technical design discussions.
Develop event-driven solutions and integrations.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Create and maintain automated unit tests using JUnit and related frameworks.
Support application quality, performance, and reliability objectives.
Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Conduct code reviews and promote development best practices.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps initiatives.
Identify prospects for continuous improvement across development processes.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and team planning activities.

What You Bring to the Table
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.




7+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong expertise in backend application development.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience working within Agile development environments.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
