Forward Insurance Managers Ltd. is a Canadian InsurTech Managing General Agent (MGA) partnering with brokers and insurers to deliver specialized coverage solutions. We are seeking a detail-oriented Product Development Specialist to develop, enhance, and maintain Forward’s commercial insurance product suite.

Location: Vancouver, BC

Key Accountabilities
Research market trends, broker needs, competitor offerings, and emerging risks in commercial and skilled lines.
Develop and refine products including coverage, underwriting guidelines, rating, wordings and endorsements.
Collaborate with leadership, underwriting, claims, operations and technology teams to bring products from concept to launch.
Support product implementation, testing, documentation and ongoing product reviews.
Develop and deliver product materials and training to brokers and the Forward team.
Monitor product performance and recommend changes to remain competitive and profitable.




Assist with Insurer regulatory/compliance requirements as required.

Qualifications
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Commercial P&C; insurance (commercial underwriting / product development, underwriting, or compliance).
Working knowledge of Commercial Lines underwriting / coverages / policy wordings / rating structures.
CIP designation (in progress or completed) preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication and comfort with Microsoft Office (Excel)

Salary Range: CAD $50,000–$80,000
