Bentley School is seeking an enthusiastic, caring, and student-focused Grade 4 Teacher. The successful candidate will create an engaging, inclusive classroom workplace while building strong relationships with students and families.

Assignment:

Full-time 1.0 FTE temporary replacement teaching position

Grade 4 Generalist

Planning and delivering instruction aligned with the Alberta Programs of Study

Duties to commence as soon as possible and will continue until October 30, 2026, with the possibility of extension

Qualifications:

Passion and Experience working with Elementary students would be considered an asset

Ability to demonstrate a commitment to high-quality teaching and learning

Experience with innovative instructional practices and a growth mindset

Ability to contribute to a collaborative, student-focused Elementary school team

Assessment literate

Ability to create an engaging, inclusive, and differentiated learning experience





Ability to support diverse learners and adapt instruction to meet a variety of student needs

Commitment to building positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues

Commitment to supporting student growth, both academically and socially

Passion for education and a commitment to student success

Effective classroom management that facilitates safe, caring, and inclusive spaces for all students

Commitment to collaboration with colleagues, staff, and administration

Strong planning and organizational skills

Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment and be a positive team member

Commitment to ongoing professional growth
