Become a Health Care Social Worker with Nova Scotia Health focusing on mental health and addiction recovery. This position involves delivering essential social work services for diverse client needs. We are searching for a dedicated Social Worker with a Bachelor’s degree and relevant clinical experience to support our Recovery Support Centre.

Your role will include individual counseling, crisis intervention, and case management within a multi-disciplinary team.

Skills in harm reduction and a deep understanding of the social determinants of health are key for this impactful position. Key Responsibilities:
Perform screenings and assessments for clients in need
Develop tailored treatment and discharge plans




Facilitate effective crisis interventions and group sessions
Act as a liaison to community resources and services
Provide case management and navigation support Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Social Work, registered with NSCSW
Two years' relevant clinical experience
Solid skills in suicide and risk assessment
Knowledge of community development methods and resources
