Your role will significantly impact health and safety practices within the mining sector. This full time, permanent position requires you to manage safety standards during 12-hour shifts in the Fort McKay/Wood Buffalo Region. You will support site teams in hazard recognition and compliance, ensuring that health, safety, and environmental aspects align with industry regulations and best practices. Key Responsibilities:
Manage safety compliance across mining operations
Assist in minimizing hazards and improving workplace safety
Advocate for OH&S; initiatives and legislative adherence
Provide consistent HSE guidance to staff
Conduct safety investigations and share learnings Requirements:
3 to 5 years of relevant HSE experience
NCSO credential from ACSA needed
Solid understanding of safety regulations and compliance
Experience in change initiatives and Root Cause Analysis
