Become a key player at Metro Vancouver as a Digital Control Software Specialist, focusing on maintaining SCADA, DCS, and PLC systems. This full-time position is based at the Seymour Capilano Filtration Plant.

This role will have you configuring industrial control systems that are vital to our water services. You will be responsible for monitoring systems, developing applications, and training operators, ensuring maximum efficiency and integration. Your past experience in an industrial setting will drive success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:



• Oversee industrial control systems configurations and performance • Develop reports using historical data for system insights • Participate in software evaluation and best practices • Train operators on effective systems usage • Coordinate with departments for data integration and project progress

Requirements: • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant experience, or diploma with 5 years • Familiarity with various PLC programming and system communication protocols • Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills • Eagerness to learn recent technologies and compliance standards • Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License
