Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented English & Writing Tutor to support our students in developing their language skills. This paid position offers an exciting chance to work with learners of various ages, including children, in a vibrant educational environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong writing skills, classroom experience, and multilingual abilities to enhance the learning experience.

Responsibilities
Teach students how to organize ideas and choose a structure suited to their writing purpose.
Model effective introductions, body paragraphs, transitions, and conclusions.
Strengthen grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and critical thinking.
Provide clear, constructive feedback to improve students’ clarity, reasoning, and individual writing voice.




Prepare lessons and track student progress.

Qualifications
Strong English language and writing skills.
Ability to teach narrative, descriptive, expository, persuasive, and argumentative writing, as well as literary analysis.
Experience teaching paragraph frameworks such as PEEL and TEEL, essay organization, thesis development, and effective use of evidence.
Ability to guide students through planning, drafting, revising, and editing.
Excellent communication skills with students and parents.
Patient, reliable, and able to adapt instruction to different grade levels.
Teaching or tutoring experience is an asset.
