Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic entry-level individual to join our team as a Junior Dispatcher. The ideal candidate will assist in coordinating transportation logistics and support efficient freight dispatching. This role requires valuable communication skills and the ability to handle tasks in a fast-paced environment. Preference for bilingual candidates fluent in English and French.

Duties
Assist with daily dispatch operations to ensure timely freight delivery.
Use phone systems and dispatching software to communicate with drivers and clients.
Support transportation planning and route optimization using GIS technology.
Work with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to improve operations.
Help monitor freight movement and resolve transit issues.
Provide customer service by updating clients on shipment status.

Qualifications
Prior experience is preferred, training provided.




Basic familiarity with phone systems and data entry.
Interest in GIS technology is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills
Positive communication skills for interactions with drivers, clients, and team members.
Ability to manage priorities under pressure.
