Job Summary

Baines Construction is looking for a dependable Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. We work on custom homes, additions, and renovations throughout the Sunshine Coast.

This is a positive opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality craftsmanship and wants to develop their carpentry skills while working alongside experienced tradespeople.

Responsibilities
Assist with framing, forming, siding, finishing and general labor
Measure, cut and assemble building materials
Operate hand and power tools
Follow drawings, instructions and established building practices.
Maintain a clean, secure and organized worksite
Work cooperatively with coworkers, subcontractors and clients

Qualifications
No prior professional experience required; however, construction experience or familiarity with carpentry tools is a plus
Registered apprentice or interest in pursuing an apprenticeship
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools




Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively in physically demanding conditions
Dependable, hardworking and willing to learn
Enthusiasm for working outdoors in various weather conditions with a proactive attitude toward safety and teamwork
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
