Asset Recovery TechnicianLocation: Burnaby, BCOpportunity at MicroservePosition OverviewMicroserve is looking for an Asset Recovery Technician to join our technical services team in Burnaby, BC. The Asset Recovery Technician is responsible for deploying and retiring IT hardware in our branch locations. We offer onsite training, competitive pay with benefits/vacation, and a Monday – Friday schedule with day shift hours.Responsibilities:Organizing and processing incoming warehouse inventoryMoving skids into Asset Recovery, helping our drivers load or unload trucks (when needed)Protecting client data by wiping, destroying, and processing computer hard drivesCheck and configure BIOS: basic input/output systems for wiping proceduresManges the data flow between the computers operating system and attached devices (Hard disk, video adapter, Keyboard and mouse)Inventory management and Client data reportingAid in improving processes where possible or necessaryShipping (logistics and prepping product)Update paperwork and tickets within internal systemsRequirements:1+year warehouse experience, preferably in an enterprise/business IT environmentWarehouse / Shipping receiving and paperwork experienceOrganized and have the ability to multi-taskGood attention to detailBasic computer user skills (Windows, Excel) are an assetExperience with computer hardware is an assetAbility to work effectively in a team setting or individuallyAbility to be accountable to your team and other departmentsMust be able to lift 50+ lbs.Must be able to pass a criminal record check (CPIC)What do you get:Time-off policies that promote work/life balancePaid time offExtended Medical and Dental plan from day oneAmazing employee discounts with over 100+ companies (for example: cell phone plans, computer equipment, insurance, groceries,
