In doing so, we remain a world-leader in horse-racing — and also among the most exciting and diverse entertainment facilities on the globe.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESEffective troubleshooting and repair of all equipmentRespond to equipment breakdown calls.Highly safety conscious with basic knowledge of cutting, welding and fabricationProvide recommendations for continual improvements and maximize efficiencies.Maintain a safe work environment, complying with the Company's Health & Safety guidelines.Have experience in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repairs.Experienced in completing preventive maintenance scheduled repairs and completing repair orders.Basic computers skills and ability to refer to manuals for spare parts and diagnostics.Must be able operate heavy duty service vehicle.Must be willing and able to work both indoors and outdoors.Must be available to work occasional evenings & weekends.Able to lift 50lbs.Other duties assigned.QUALIFICATIONS/TECHNICIAL KNOWLEDGECandidates must have their Heavy Equipment Mechanic License. Proof of Provincial license is required from Truck and coach (310T)Ability to prioritize and handle multiple daily assignments with minimal supervision.Ability to work with a team and independently.Basic math skillsGood written,
