effective ASAP to June 30, 2027

Dr. George Johnson School
5.75hr/day Temporary Educational Assistant9am-3:15pm
(30 minute lunch)

Ability, Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent
  


• Para Educator Certificate desired


• Relevant training and experience


• Course work in behavior management


• Demonstrable computer/technology skills

Responsibilities May Include

• Supporting students academically, socially, and behaviorally


• Assisting with communication and speech-language activities


• Supporting individualized student programming






• Assisting with supervision and daily routinesAssisting with library support duties, including acquisitions, cataloguing, assisting students and staff, book fairs, etc.


• Supporting student safety, personal care, and mobility needs as required

Salary: According to the Collective Agreement
