Job Summary
Work Location: Northern Ontario, Remote Location willing to relocate
Shifts: 2 weeks on 2 weeks off rotation, 12-hour shifts
Work Setting: Private security agency, construction site
Travelling: Employees pay their own way to get to the site.
In office: All accommodations on site are included at no cost to our guards.
Type of Assignments: Fixed post, Foot patrol, Patrol post, Vehicle patrol
Work Conditions: Outside, combinations of sitting,
standing and walking
Requirements
Documents:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s License
- Clean Criminal Record
Skills:
- Spill response training is an asset
- Languages: English or Bilingual (French)
- Writing and Oral communication
- Working well with others
- Problem-solving
- Decision making
- Critical thinking
- Job task planning and organizing
- Significant use of memory
- Computer skills in MS Office
Experience:
- Minimum of 6 months in security or relative field
- The applicant must be legally entitled to work in Canada and to be 18 years old at the time of applying.
