Nursery Room Leader – Baby Room – £14.50 per hour The Baby Room is a bright, thoughtfully designed space where sensory play, early communication, and close connection shape each day. From first steps to first words, you’ll lead a team that creates meaningful experiences for babies during their earliest stages of development. As Nursery Room Leader, you’ll guide practice on the floor, support your team, and ensure every child receives attentive, high-quality care.
Before You Apply A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification is required.
You must have experience leading or deputising within a nursery room.
This role is not suitable for practitioners without senior room responsibility.
£14.50 per hour

What You’ll Need Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
Experience working with babies in a nursery setting (desirable)
Experience leading a nursery room
Strong knowledge of the EYFS, particularly birth to two development
What You’ll Do Lead the daily running of the Baby Room
Oversee care routines including feeding, sleeping, and nappy changing
Plan and implement sensory-based activities aligned with EYFS
Monitor observations and early development milestones
Supervise and support practitioners within the room
Maintain safeguarding, health and safety, and ratio compliance
Build professional relationships with parents regarding routines and progress
