Position Summary

The Executive Assistant is a senior bargaining-unit role providing political, organizing and executive support to the President, Executive Board, committees, affiliates and allies of the Toronto & York Region Labour Council. The job combines President and governance preparation with campaign and program leadership, relationship work, research and writing,



major events and committee support.

The Executive Assistant works under the President's overall direction and reports through the management structure established by the President. The role works closely with the Assistant to the President and other staff and has direct working access to the President as needed. It does not carry management authority. Routine clerical, accounting and database-administration work remains with the appropriate classifications.

Toronto & York Region Labour Council, 895 Don Mills Road, Toronto, with regular work throughout Toronto and York Region

Salary and benefits:

$124,948.04 annually, effective January 1, 2026, plus perks and scheduled increases under the applicable USW collective agreement.
