In-home caregiver – private home – StSz… family

- NOC Job Code/Title: 44101 - Family Caregiver

Terms of employment: This job is for a full time position (between 30 and 40 hours per week). Flexible hours are required. English or French. Job start date is October 19, 2026

Salary: Wage offered is between $17 and $21 per hour.

Location- StSz lives in the city of Westmount, Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood, school and parks are nearby. The city bus is easily accessible and is close by (bus # 66, # 17). The major intersection is The Boulevard and Boul. Décarie.

Duties may include:

1- This job is to help with the care of a 12 year old child as well as a 16 year old teen suffering from a chronic medical condition

2- Supervision of children when parents are not at home,

3- Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise,





4- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents,

5- Offer teen special care and attention to ensure their continued health and wellbeing

6- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents,

7- Plan, prepare and serve meals for children. Kitchen clean-up is also required,

8- General housework that will include doing laundry and ironing of school uniforms.

9- Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment

Qualifications:

1- Must have completed at minimum Canadian secondary school education

2- Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver or equivalent training

3- Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, patient, and able to manage the job without supervision.
