TYB Enterprises Inc. is a multi-generational construction company specializing in custom home construction and quality craftsmanship. The company works closely with clients, designers and engineers to complete high-quality, detail-focused projects throughout the Algoma region.
TYB Enterprises Inc. is seeking a motivated Journeyman Carpenter or Registered Apprentice to join its team. The successful candidate will assist with framing, finishing and general carpentry duties on custom residential construction projects.
Perform framing, finishing and general carpentry work
Measure, cut, assemble and install building materials
Read and interpret blueprints and project plans
Work collaboratively with other trades and team members
Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
Ensure work is completed safely and within project timelines
Maintain a clean and organized job site
Journeyman Carpenter certification or registration as a Carpenter Apprentice
Residential construction experience preferred; custom home experience is an asset
Robust attention to detail and quality workmanship
Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team
Ability to perform physically demanding work in a construction setting
Safety-conscious and able to follow workplace procedures
Valid G driver’s licence required
Must be able to reliably travel to job sites located between Echo Bay and Thessalon
