Position: Lead Developer - Guidewire PC/BC

About this opportunity

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Lead Developer – Guidewire PC/BC to play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing Guidewire solutions. This position requires deep expertise in PolicyCenter and BillingCenter, with a strong emphasis on configuration, integration, and solution architecture.

You will lead development initiatives, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive high-quality technical outcomes across complex programs.

What You’ll Do

- Lead the design and implementation of Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter solutions, including both configuration and integration components
- Provide hands‑on solution design and technical leadership across multiple initiatives
- Guide and mentor development teams, promoting collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous improvement
- Translate business requirements into scalable and robust technical solutions in partnership with stakeholders




- Design and develop integrations using REST and SOAP APIs
- Ensure adherence to best practices in Guidewire development, architecture, and performance optimization
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and product stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision‑making
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across systems
- Contribute to project planning, estimation, and delivery management

What You Bring

- 8+ years of experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter and/or BillingCenter
- Strong hands‑on expertise in Guidewire configuration and/or integration
- ACE Certification in PolicyCenter or BillingCenter (Configuration or Integration)
- Proven experience in solution design and architecture
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing development teams or technical workstreams
- Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills
- Solid experience working with REST and SOAP APIs
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail

Nice to Have

- Experience with additional Guidewire products (e.g., ClaimCenter, Digital, DataHub, InfoCenter)
- Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and cloud‑based architectures
