Cornerstone Family Violence Prevention Centre offers a Relief Shelter Services Counsellor position for dedicated professionals focused on assisting women in crisis. This role involves managing shelter operations and providing trauma-informed counselling on a rotating shift schedule. Crisis intervention is crucial, with responsibilities including client case management and community advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct counselling and support services for shelter residents
• Facilitate crisis intervention via support phone lines
• Work with community partners for client referrals and support

Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in social work or a related area
• Relevant experience in social services preferred
• Strong decision-making capabilities under pressure
• Certification in CPR & First Aid
• Must be available for evening, overnight, and weekend shifts
