Are you an experienced Performance Engineer ready to make an impact?

Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Sr. Performance Engineer-Dynatrace/Banking. This position involves extensive experience in end-to-end performance engineering, supporting critical projects across the enterprise.

Pay rate range (CAD): $66.04/hr - $79.24/hr

Responsibilities

Develop and execute performance testing scripts using JMeter and other tools

Perform in-depth performance monitoring and analysis with Dynatrace

Define workload models and simulate production-like scenarios for large-scale performance tests

Analyze results and identify system bottlenecks for resolution

Understand non-functional requirements and system architecture to ensure comprehensive performance coverage

Fine-tune applications, databases, and infrastructure components for optimal performance

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze results, recommend optimizations, and improve overall system performance

Troubleshoot complex performance issues and provide actionable insights

Document performance test plans, results, and tuning recommendations

Stay current with performance engineering best practices and emerging tools

Desired Skill-Set

Extensive experience with performance engineering across all phases of the lifecycle

Proficiency in JMeter for scripting and scenario creation

Strong expertise in Dynatrace for deep performance monitoring





Skilled in defining workload models and executing large-scale tests

Solid understanding of non-functional requirements and system architecture

Ability to fine-tune applications, databases, and infrastructure

Proven collaboration skills with developers, architects, and operations teams

Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on measurable improvements

Nice to Have

Experience with Splunk, Log Analysis, and Datadog

Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering practices, including Chaos Engineering and observability techniques

Experience with test data strategies and virtualization using tools like Mountebank

Familiarity with measuring and enhancing end-user performance experience
