About the Role We are looking to connect with a freelance videographer based in Winnipeg for ongoing, project-based work.
Expectations Shoot content specifically for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Reels)
Understand short-form video pacing, hooks, and framing
Capture content that feels natural, human, and engaging
Work efficiently on-site with brand ambassadors
Responsibilities Film short-form video content on location for various clients
Follow creative direction, shot lists, and content strategy
Capture a variety of angles, formats, and sequences for editing flexibility
Collaborate with team members including strategists, creators, and brand leads
Ensure footage is optimized for social formats
Requirements Based in or near Winnipeg, Ontario
Own professional video equipment
Access to a vehicle and ability to travel locally to shoots
Comfortable working in fast-paced, on-site environments




Able to accommodate shoots with approximately 1–2 weeks’ notice
Strong understanding of social media content (not just traditional video)
Nice to Have Experience shooting for brands, businesses, or social media campaigns
Familiarity with current social media trends and formats
Ability to direct basic movement or guide subjects during filming
Compensation Project-based / per-shoot compensation (varies by scope) Paid per agreed project rate
