Our Recreation Department invites qualified fitness instructors to join on a contract basis. In this role, you will provide protected and effective instruction during land fitness classes, adapting techniques for all fitness levels. Successful candidates need to thrive both individually and as part of a coaching team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead land fitness classes with effective techniques
• Ensure participant safety through clear demonstrations
• Foster a supportive and engaging class atmosphere
• Provide modifications for diverse fitness needs
• Work collaboratively with fellow instructors and team members

Requirements:
• Valid fitness certification from BCRPA or CFES
• Certifications in Standard First Aid, CPR-C, and AED
• Must have flexible availability for various class timings
• Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
