This role seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer with a strong preference for underground shaft sinking project expertise. You will have the prospect to collaborate across a multidisciplinary team of about 60 engineers. Engage with clients and vendors, and contribute to the design and study work for various projects in the pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:



- Lead design efforts for underground shaft sinking operations - Work collaboratively within a large engineering team - Interact with clients to ensure project needs are accurately addressed - Identify and source necessary equipment and skilled services - Execute study work for new client initiatives and EPC projects
Requirements: - Significant experience with underground engineering design - Strong background in consulting engineering, ideally with Stantec - Competence in working with hoist systems is essential - Willingness to participate in occasional site visits - Effective communication and collaboration skills
