We are seeking a hands-on, self-directed Senior Python Developer to support delivery within the Total Fund Management Portfolio Management Technology team. This role demands high autonomy, ownership of outcomes, and the ability to deliver working solutions with minimal oversight.RESPONSIBILITIES
Own timelines and deliverables, proactively managing scope, dependencies, and execution risksIndependently design and deliver software solutions by engaging stakeholders and challenging assumptionsBuild backend services and RESTful APIs aligned to those designsDevelop cloud-native applications (AWS preferred)Implement workflow automation and data pipelines where neededContribute across the full software development lifecycle, including CI/CDEnsure solutions are production-ready, including testing, documentation,



and handoverAct as a reliable execution partner, escalating issues early when requiredMUST-HAVE SKILLS
Prior consulting, advisory, or client-facing delivery experienceAbility to operate effectively in ambiguous environmentsProven independent delivery without close supervisionStrong Python experience in enterprise settings + Java (2 years)Experience with SQL, Docker, and KubernetesStrong cloud experience (AWS)Solid unit and integration testing practicesExperience with message queues (SQS, Kafka, etc.)NICE TO HAVE
