Job Salary: $60,000 - $85,000 / Year

Job Description
We are looking for a full-time permanent Lead CAD Technologist / Lead Rebar Detailer, who will be reporting directly to the Sales Manager. In this position the CAD Technologist is responsible creating explicit and accurate rebar placement drawings, coordinate with key external stakeholders, and submitting orders to production team.

Responsibilities are:

Provide 2D drawings in AutoCAD

Ensure materials and time allocation are within estimated parameters of projects

Administration of miscellaneous parts of contracts

Plan and coordinate product delivery dates with external clients

Piling cage machine production planning

Lead team of 2-3 CAD Technologist, completed performance reviews, disciplinary requirements and other team development

Work closely with Sales Manager, Operation Coordinator and Installation Coordinator





Other duties as required

What You'll Need

5 years of rebar detailing experience.

5 years of experience in training and working knowledge of AutoCAD.

3 years of leadership experience required.

Diploma in civil engineering or related technologies required.

Project management experience would be considered an assets.

Construction (civil, concrete) related experience is preferred

Ability to interpret blueprints

Interpersonal communication skills

Attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work under pressure

Ability to be organized while working on multiple projects

Ability to apply the correct mathematical methods and formulas
