Employees are expected to support and participate in a “culture of safety” and adhere to and be ambassadors of Strike’s Code of Conduct and Values, treating others with dignity, respect, and fairness.Project DetailsSite: Cenovus Christina Lake North plant, north of Conklin, ABRotation: 8 on/6 offPay: $300/shift travel allowanceCamp accommodations providedCore AccountabilitiesRead and interpret red-line construction drawings and blueprints (Isometrics, P&ID’s, etc.)Assist journeyperson pipefitters with the installation of equipment, pipe, and structural steel on siteAssemble piping and valves in module and compressor packagesPrepare pipe and fittings for tacking, hoisting, and riggingHydrotest, assemble, and install pipe spools in the fabrication facilityMeasure, cut, and thread pipe to the required shapeInstall supports, valves, piping, and control systemsRemove and replace worn components and reactivate systemsQualificationsEducationMust be a registered 1st or 2nd year Apprentice with the appropriate provincial or federal authority.TrainingMust have or be willing to obtain valid H2S Alive and CSTS 2020 or PST tickets.CSTS 09 and CSO/BSO will not be accepted.Skills, Knowledge,
