As part of our dedicated Shelter Care Kitchen team, you will focus on meal preparation and assist in the organization of food donations. This full-time position comes with a versatile schedule and the chance to engage with program participants, fostering a cooperative culinary setting.

You’re expected to maintain cleanliness and work under varying conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks from donated food
Organize and distribute food donations consistently
Ensure cleanliness in kitchen and storage sections
Operate kitchen appliances and cleaning tools safely
Mentor participants and volunteers in culinary tasks

Requirements:
High school diploma (Grade 12) is required
Certification in Food Handling is a must
Kitchen experience, particularly in industrial settings
Background in volunteer coordination is preferred
Ability to lift heavy objects during prep work
