RVA's growing Bridge team is looking for an Engineering Designer to apply their skills and work within a mentored environment. This position welcomes individuals with a Bachelor's degree and less than three years of experience. You will play a key role in designing bridges and other structures, while supporting project coordination and ensuring quality of design calculations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop structural designs and draft bridge plans
• Assess and sketch structural layouts for various projects
• Create and manage planning reports and design calculations




• Execute structural visual inspections and assessments
• Coordinate projects and assist with contract administration

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is essential
• 0-3+ years of design experience in heavy civil structures
• Eligibility for EIT registration is preferred
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other engineering software
• Solid initiative and teamwork skills
