POSITION DESCRIPTION

FOP CONSULTANTS is looking for Application Project Managers motivated to deliver on mandates. The main assignments would be to lead application development and enhancement projects, frame functional and technical needs, plan the schedule, budget and resources, coordinate the development, architecture and quality assurance teams, and manage risks and releases.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIE
Frame functional needs, technical requirements and application scope.
Plan the schedule, the budget (Capex/Opex) and team resources.
Coordinate the development, architecture and quality assurance teams.
Manage risks, scope changes and interdependencies between applications.
Track the progress of each phase (analysis, development, testing, deployment) and costs.
Communicate with stakeholders and produce reporting.
Ensure release, stabilization and handover to application support.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
University degree in computer science, management or any related discipline.
Five (05) to ten (10) years of experience in information technology.
Three (03) to seven (07) years of experience as an Application Project Manager.
Experience with one of the following frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, Lean, DSDM, SAFe, Nexus.
Experience with one of the following tools:



Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, Git
Hold one of the following certifications: PRINCE 2 Practionner, PMP, PMI-ACP
Hold one of the following Agile certifications (an asset): CSM, PSM I, PSM II, A-CSM, SAFe Scrum Master etc.
Experience managing Agile software development projects (an asset).
Experience in large Canadian public or private organizations.
Language: French and English
