Grow with Joy Childcare (Riverdale) is looking for dedicated, dependable, and caring individuals to join our childcare team.

KITCHEN HELPER – NOC 65201

Salary: $20.00 per hour
Employment Type: Permanent, Full time
Hours: 35–40 hours per week
Work Location: 55 Pelly Road, Whitehorse, YT Y1A 4L9
Language of Work: English

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and portion food using basic kitchen tools and appliances.
Assemble and plate meals and snacks for children.
Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment by hand or dishwasher and return clean items to their proper storage areas.
Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, floors, and garbage areas.
Stock, organize, and properly store food and kitchen supplies.
Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
Maintain a clean, protected, and sanitary kitchen workplace.
Support kitchen staff with food preparation, cleaning, and other general duties as required.
Follow applicable food safety,



sanitation, health, and workplace safety procedures.
