Wage:
$55.67 per hour + benefits according to Union collective agreement (full-time position)
Location of Work:
Various locations across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Province of Ontario
Job Description:
Formwork used in concrete construction
Construct temporary wooden structures and supports
Build foundations and install shoring
Build and install platforms, scaffolding, ramps and ladders
Determine specifications and calculate requirements
Prepare layouts
Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood materials
Operate power tools
Job Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in high-rise form carpentry
Good math skills to calculate accurate measurements
Attention to detail
Problem-solving
Team player with a positive attitude
Capable of working in a quick-paced labour-intensive environment
Physical strength to handle heavy loads (up to 50 lbs)
Punctual and willingness to work long hours and Saturdays if required
