Serve as a Family Advocate in the Head Start program, focusing on recruitment and family engagement. Help improve children’s health and education through effective partnerships.

Under the supervision of the Area Manager, this role is pivotal in fostering connections between families and available resources. You will work with health coordinators, conduct outreach, and ensure parents are equipped with knowledge about their children's needs. Upholding confidentiality and compliance with ethical standards is vital in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
• Recruit children for the Head Start program effectively
• Collaborate with health professionals for family outreach
• Provide referrals and crisis support to families




• Attend and engage in Parent Committee meetings
• Promote family participation in program governance

Requirements:
• High School diploma/GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to perform physical duties as necessary
• Valid driver’s license according to insurance standards
• General office and computer proficiency
