Lead fundraising initiatives with Heart & Stroke as the Vice President of Philanthropy for Ontario and Nunavut. This impactful role connects strategy with relationship management.

In this position, you will join Heart & Stroke’s senior leadership team to drive philanthropic efforts across the regions. Your experience in major-gift fundraising and your ability to foster long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders will be crucial as you manage a robust portfolio of donors. You’ll be responsible for positioning Heart & Stroke’s priorities to engage and inspire world-class philanthropy.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and oversee philanthropy strategies for donor engagement
• Personally solicit high-capacity donors for significant contributions




• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and volunteers
• Cultivate relationships to support the Foundation’s mission
• Ensure effective communication and stewardship with top donors

Requirements:
• At least 10 years in fundraising roles
• Proven track record in major gifts of $500K+
• Solid analytical and strategic capabilities
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Travel availability for donor engagements
