Instruct students in the Inuktitut Language Program at Nunavut Arctic College in Rankin Inlet. This role is vital for developing language courses tailored to student and community needs.

As an Instructor, you will design, implement, and evaluate Inuit Language courses that adhere to Nunavut Arctic College standards. In addition, your involvement will help shape the program's development while ensuring high-quality instructional practices. The role may also encompass teaching additional courses in the Inuit Languages and Culture Division, enhancing the academic offering for students.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver Inuit language courses according to standards
• Assess students' progress and instructional effectiveness
• Create and maintain instructional materials for all courses




• Foster the growth of the Inuktitut Language Program
• Offer additional language courses as required

Requirements:
• Teaching experience or education background required
• Deep understanding of Inuit language and cultural context
• Resident status: Rankin Inlet only
• Possible term position for successful Nunavut Inuk candidates
• Current permanent employees may apply for transfer if applicable
