Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Data Analyst -AI Automation. This is a project-based position focused on AI, analytics, and insights, offering exposure to cutting-edge tools and impactful projects within a dynamic team.

Pay rate range (CAD): $63.57/hr – $76.29/hr

Responsibilities

Partner with the business to identify and assess AI, automation, and analytics opportunities

Design, prototype, test, and implement solutions using tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, Power Automate, and related technologies

Translate business requirements into AI-enabled agents, automated workflows, and decision-support solutions

Conduct process and data exploration to evaluate feasibility, data readiness, risks, and potential value

Manage assigned initiatives from requirements gathering through testing, documentation, and user adoption

Provide data analysis and actionable insights to support ongoing and ad hoc business needs

Collaborate with business and control partners to ensure solutions comply with applicable AI, data, risk, privacy, and governance standards

Develop reusable solution patterns and documentation to support responsible AI and automation adoption

Desired Skill-Set

5-7 years of experience in analytics and insights functions

Strong technical expertise in Python, SQL,



and large language models

Proven experience using AI automation and generative or agent-based AI solutions

Stakeholder management and communication skills

Ability to handle data exploration, risk assessment, and solution design independently

Experience working within a financial institution is preferred but not required

Attention to detail and excellent time management skills

Nice to Have

Previous experience working as a contractor in the banking/financial industry

Familiarity with AI tools like Microsoft 365 Copilot and related platforms

Knowledge of AI, automation, and data privacy regulations
