The Job: Equipment Maintenance, Repair and Safety

- Inspect, maintain, diagnose and repairheavy-duty vehicles, machinery and equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance, scheduled servicingand component replacements in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic andelectrical systems using appropriate diagnostic tools and technical knowledge.
- Maintain accurate inspection, maintenance andrepair records.
- Coordinate specialized repairs and partsrequirements with supervisors, operators and external vendors.




- Identify and report equipment deficiencies,safety concerns and maintenance requirements.
- Use tools, equipment and personal protectiveequipment safely and in accordance with company procedures and applicableregulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized and properlyequipped work area while supporting a robust safety culture across shop, yardand field operations.

What Skills andTraining Do You Need?

- Journeyperson Heavy Duty Technician certification.
- 5+ years’ experience working as a HeavyEquipment Technician/Mechanic.
- Vacuum Truck experience is an asset.
- Minimum Class 5 Driver’s License required withclean abstract.
- Excellent safety record and a commitment to safework practices.
- Willingness to provide references, consent to a criminal record check and completepre-employment alcohol & drug testing.
- Must be able to work out of town on a rotationschedule.
