Elk Valley Resources is looking for a Mine Engineering Specialist to contribute to its long-range planning efforts. You will report to the Senior Engineering Supervisor, driving initiatives focused on sustainable mining and compliance. This role blends technical expertise with teamwork to produce effective mine plans and schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design optimizations for mining operations
• Develop 5-year plans and budgets for mine initiatives
• Conduct detailed data analysis to inform decision-making
• Collaborate on mine permit applications and amendments




• Supervise and guide team in strategic engineering practices

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Mining Engineering or related discipline
• At least seven years of mine planning experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and mining software
• P.Eng. status or eligibility with Engineers and Geoscientists of BC
• Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent required
