Our Mississauga team is currently looking for a mechanically minded individual to ensure our fleet is running safely and smoothly. This role is perfect for people who are passionate about automotive excellence and are dedicated to showcasing and developing their technical skills with our experienced team.

Shift:
Night Shift, 4x10

Compensation:

$44.56 per hour with full-time hours and overtime opportunities

$00.85 Shift Premium

Responsibilities

Performingpreventative maintenance on equipment as assigned

Leverage predictive diagnostic software to aid in eliminating vehicle breakdowns

Diagnose vehicle failures and perform mechanical repairs and replacements as required

Respond to local road calls and/or coordinate service support as necessary

Performing all assigned duties in a safe and productive manner

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent GEDrequired





Must be certifiedHET / 310TJourneyperson

Must have validDriver'sLicense in goodstanding

Minimum of 2yearswork experiencerequiredwith preventative maintenance onclass6/8trucks and industrialequipment

Must be able to provide own tool set for thework

Must be able to work independently with minimalsupervision

Additionalskills you may have (notrequired, these are assets):

Experience with propane and electric forklifts,hydraulic liftgates, agriculture equipment,reefers, vans,pickupsand cars

Welding and electrical experience

Class 1 / AZ preferred

Physical demands and working conditions:

You can lift/carry and push/pull up to100lbs

You are comfortable working in a multi-temperatureenvironment

Must be able to perform frequent standing, bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting,reachingandgrasping

Must be able to work evenings, weekends and overtime asrequired
