Logistics Clerk Objective Support the planning, coordination, documentation, and follow-up of domestic and international logistics operations, ensuring materials and products are delivered on time and that required transportation and customs documentation is complete and accurate.
Key Responsibilities Monitor materials in transit for import operations and follow up on shipments through transportation and freight forwarder tracking platforms.
Review in-transit and warehouse reports to identify shipment status and communicate potential delays to the corresponding areas.
Coordinate and register transportation for domestic pickups and deliveries based on requests from internal departments.
Maintain regular communication with transportation providers by phone and email to confirm pickup and delivery schedules.
Maintain accurate and updated records of transportation operations, including carrier information, units, destinations, pickup and delivery dates and times.
Support the preparation and collection of documentation required for import operations, including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and other applicable documents.




Provide required documentation and information to customs brokers to support import and export operations.
Follow up on shipments and transportation units to ensure materials arrive at the scheduled destination and within the required timeframe.
Organize and maintain electronic files for import and export operations according to established procedures and documentation checklists.
Ensure logistics and foreign trade documentation is properly stored and available for internal reviews and audits.
Support compliance with company logistics procedures, management systems, and applicable Foreign Trade regulations.
Communicate any delays, discrepancies, or issues affecting shipments to the appropriate internal teams and support the follow-up until resolution.
Internal Relationships Shipping / Logistics: Coordinate shipment information, documentation, and domestic transportation requirements.
Purchasing / Planning: Receive information and documentation related to imports, pickups, and deliveries.
Receiving / Warehouse: Confirm the timely and proper receipt of materials.
External Relationships Transportation Providers: Coordinate pickups and deliveries and follow up on shipment status.
Customs Brokers: Provide and exchange documentation required for import and export operations.
Freight Forwarders: Follow up on international shipments and transportation status.
Requirements Bachelor's degree or currently pursuing a degree in Foreign Trade, International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
1–2 years of experience in logistics,



transportation, foreign trade, or a related area.
Basic knowledge of logistics processes and Foreign Trade regulations.
Basic knowledge of import and export documentation.
Experience with shipment tracking and transportation coordination is preferred.
Microsoft Office knowledge, particularly Excel
