Make a difference at the YMCA of Southeast Alberta as a Youth Behavioral Specialist in the Back on Track Program. This role is dedicated to fostering youth success through personalized support and developmental strategies.

This full-time, temporary position operates at 37.5 hours per week until June 25, 2027, under the supervision of the Director of Community Programs. Ideal candidates will have a diploma or degree in a relevant field, along with 2-3 years of experience in youth intervention. You will actively plan and implement programs that promote healthy development and behavior.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement strengths-based interventions with youth
• Organize and lead various youth activities
• Deescalate complaints and manage difficult situations




• Provide excellent customer service and case management
• Uphold Alberta's Child Care Act and standards

Requirements:
• Degree/Diploma in Social Work or related field
• 2-3 years' relevant experience in interventions
• Child Development Certificate (preferred)
• First Aid and CPR certification required
• Recent explicit Police Information Check required
