Position Title: Manager, Technical Accounting and Reconciliations

Reports to: Senior Director, Finance

Employee Status: Permanent, Full-time

Work Hours: 35 hours per work week

Salary Range: $127,500 to $157,000 annually, plus eligibility to participate in the TTC Pension Plan’s Short-Term Incentive Plan, with a target incentive opportunity of 15%.

Location: Toronto, Ontario / Hybrid; 2 Bloor St. E.

Position Summary
The Manager, Technical Accounting and Reconciliations is a key member of the Finance team reporting to the Senior Director, Finance. The role is responsible for ensuring the correct interpretation and application of accounting standards (i.e., IFRS and GAAP) to complex transactions, investment activities, and financial reporting matters for the Plan. The incumbent collaborates closely with external auditors, custodians, investment managers, and internal stakeholders, serves as the primary point of contact for accounting and auditing policy
