Agam is seeking highly motivated and analytical students to join our office in Canada.

Key responsibilities include:

- Support M&A;, reinsurance transactions, and new deal underwriting activities
- Develop asset and liability models for life insurance and annuity blocks of business
- Analyze insurance balance sheet for deal pricing, strategic asset allocation (SAA), hedging, and stress testing
- Optimize processes across actuarial, risk, and finance functions at various operating entities

Requirements:

- 3rd to 4th year in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- High academic achievement and at least 3 SOA exams passed
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a highly dynamic environment
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and/or Access

Term

- Winter 2027- Jan- April
- Summer 2027- May-Aug

Preferred:

- Understanding of insurance balance sheet
- Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, C# or Python
- Knowledge of asset modeling concepts and methodologies is a plus
