- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related security field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in security engineering, threat intelligence, trust and safety, or a related abuse‑fighting field.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, Go, C++, or Java.
- Experience working with data analysis, SQL, and investigating datasets to uncover patterns or anomalies.

Preferred qualifications:

- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Experience working with machine learning models and applying ML techniques to classification or anomaly detection problems.
- Experience leading cross‑functional investigations, attributing threat campaigns, or discovering novel systemic vulnerabilities.
- Understanding of adversarial Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), with experience mapping behaviors to intelligence frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK;, STIX, Diamond Model).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical findings into actionable insights for non‑technical stakeholders and partner teams.
