Become a vital part of the educational community as a Permanent Educational Assistant in Brantford. This full time role centers on supporting special needs students in various classroom settings for optimal learning.

With a commitment of 35 hours per week for 10 months, beginning October 26, 2026, you will engage with students to facilitate a smooth transition from home to school, while collaborating with teachers on lesson delivery. Successful candidates will be proactive, empathetic, and physically capable of performing essential tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support teachers in classroom activities and behavior management
• Help develop and maintain Individualized Education Plans
• Document student behavior and academic progress




• Assist with classroom supplies and instructional materials
• Participate in planning field trips and other activities

Requirements:
• Completion of a post-secondary educational assistant program
• Minimum one year relevant experience preferred
• Ability to work both independently and as a team
• Positive attitude towards special needs education
• Basic computer skills
