S.D. 83 is hiring a Temporary Music Teacher for Len Wood Middle School and Silver Creek Elementary. This position spans grades K-8 and supports music education until June 30, 2027.

Assuming a Priority Music TTOC role, this assignment starts immediately. You will be responsible for filling in for absent teachers while also focusing on elementary music and middle school band instruction. The job requires adaptability to address various teaching needs throughout the district.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver K-6 Elementary Music instruction
• Lead General Music 6 and Band classes for 7/8
• Handle TTOC duties in diverse classrooms
• Create and facilitate concerts and musical events
• Integrate various teaching techniques in music education

Requirements:
• Bachelor of Music or equivalent education
• Must hold a valid BC teaching certificate
• Experience in Middle Music teaching preferred
• Knowledge of current Fine Arts curriculum
• Comfortable using technology in music instruction
