Are you an experienced bookkeeping qualified looking to put your skills toward the clean energy transition?

The Ottawa Renewable Energy Co-operative (OREC) is looking for a Bookkeeper & Office Administrator to join our team as we bring our financial operations in-house.

In this role, you’ll support the financial and administrative operations behind OREC’s community-owned renewable energy work across Ontario — from multi-entity bookkeeping and payroll to member investments, reporting, and day-to-day administration.

? Remote — Ontario residents

? Salary: $55,000–$65,000/year

? 20 days paid time off + paid holiday closure between Boxing Day and New Year’s

We’re looking for someone with 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, strong QuickBooks Online and Google Sheets skills, and experience with payroll, HST returns, and multi-entity reporting.
