Provide essential health care as a Nurse Practitioner with Planned Parenthood Toronto, focusing on reproductive and mental health for Black youth. This role promotes equitable access to care.
In this position, you will be a vital part of the Black Health team, dedicated to enhancing health outcomes for youth aged 13 to 29. The successful candidate will apply an equity lens and specialize in trauma-informed, culturally responsive care, addressing various health challenges faced by Black youth. You will have opportunities for skilled growth while working in an interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct youth-focused primary care and sexual health services
• Offer gender-affirming therapies and hormone management
• Support clients with mental health navigation and treatments




• Engage with community organizations for outreach initiatives
• Maintain detailed and accurate electronic health records
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse in the Extended Class with current standing
• At least 3 years of experience in sexual or community health
• Strong dedication to anti-oppressive practices
• Exceptional skills in communication and teamwork
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings
