About the Role: Lead
The Lead position at Apple Canada is a whole-store role. Responsibilities
As a Lead, your day-to-day work is dynamic and people-centred. You'll move fluidly between mentoring team members, engaging directly with customers, and managing the operational backbone of the store. These responsibilities are critical to maintaining the high standard that defines Apple Retail .
Lead and mentor team members, acting as a role model and actively encouraging meaningful customer engagement
Drive customer engagement and sales using deep knowledge of Apple products and services, while building long-term customer loyalty
Organise the sales floor workflow and manage relevant communication between team members and leadership to optimise the customer experience
Communicate sales strategy to the team in a timely manner, ensuring effective execution in partnership with the leadership team
Energise and align team members on store performance goals, priorities, and key updates
Attend to time-sensitive team member feedback,
questions, and concerns, escalating issues to Store Leadership as appropriate
Address operational needs including opening and closing procedures, cash management, and overrides
Foster an inclusive environment by respecting differences and demonstrating Apple's values of inclusion and diversity in daily activities
Requirements / Skills
Apple is looking for someone who leads with both confidence and empathy. The ideal candidate brings hands-on retail or sales experience paired with a genuine ability to motivate others and manage complexity on the fly. Strong communication and a whole-store mindset are essential for success in this role.
Availability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
Experience in retail, sales, or related work that demonstrates customer-facing expertise
Experience mentoring or leading others , whether in a personal or professional capacity
Proficiency in written and spoken English (or French, if the role is based in Quebec)
Ability to motivate others through open dialogue, collaboration, and recognition to achieve performance goals
Conflict resolution skills and the ability to settle differences in productive ways
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment , making timely decisions using analytics, experience, and sound judgement
Excellent attention to detail , organisational skills, and the ability to work autonomously and take initiative
Experience in retail or sales, or related work experience. Experience mentoring or leading others personally or professionally. Proficient in written and spoken English (or French if role is based in Quebec).
