Westland Insurance Group Ltd. has an exciting opportunity for a People & Performance Program Specialist (hybrid) at our Head Office in Surrey, BC.

Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $66,000 to $78,000 based on a 35-hour work week. Actual offered salary will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role, and internal equity.

Westland also offers a competitive annual short-term incentive program that enables employees to share in the rewards of the business and emphasizes the measures that are key to our success.

Strong knowledge of provincial employment standards and employment law

Ability to juggle multiple priorities with outstanding project management skills

Degree in Human Resources or related discipline

Proficiency in HR systems and software

Once Here, You’ll

Support HR programs, policies, and initiatives aligned with organizational objectives while evaluating program effectiveness and suggesting improvements.

Collaborate with HR leadership to enhance employee engagement and organizational culture.

Analyze HR program data for insights to be shared with leaders.

Prepare accurate and timely documentation related to HR programs.





Develop initiatives promoting a positive workplace culture and work-life balance.

Monitor DEI metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Partner with departments for seamless integration of HR programs.

Assist in planning and executing HR initiatives across various areas including employee engagement, M&A;, total rewards, learning & development, and talent acquisition.

Provide support and guidance to managers and employees on HR program inquiries and processes.
