Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team on a 12-month contract. This role is ideal for a robust full-cycle accounting professional who has solid month-end experience and can also support or contribute to an ERP implementation/project .
Downtown Toronto, ON | Hybrid
Key Responsibilities Perform full-cycle accounting activities, including month-end and year-end close
Prepare and post journal entries , accruals, and adjusting entries
Complete account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
Prepare monthly financial reporting and supporting schedules
Assist with financial analysis and reporting requirements
Support the accounting team with process improvements and reporting initiatives
Participate in or provide accounting support for an ERP implementation
Assist with testing, data validation, process mapping, and system-related accounting activities




Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information
Requirements 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
CPA/CA designation or currently pursuing CPA
Strong experience with month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
Experience working with an ERP system
Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have Experience supporting an ERP implementation or system migration
Experience with process improvement and accounting system implementations
